OneEnergy Baker Point Solar, LLC developed a 7.5 megawatt (MW) alternating current (AC) solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Frederick County, Maryland. The project occupied approximately 56-acres. The project required a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC). In addition to these requirements, the project required coverage under the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) General National Pollutant Elimination System (NPDES) stormwater permit for construction activities over one acre as well as local permits from Frederick County, Maryland. Triad’s services included environmental consulting, geotechnical investigation, surveying and mapping, site engineering and permitting and construction materials testing and inspection.
