Triad has an extensive background working on a variety of projects in the education industry. Triad’s experience includes projects for K-12 schools and higher education facilities from both the public and private sector. These projects range from new construction, stormwater management improvement projects, additions, renovations, fields, stadiums and more. Triad maintains in-depth knowledge of education industry standards, developments, and future goals.
Smithsburg High School (MD) stadium and field improvements
Triad has made a good habit of supporting the next generation of youth in communities where we live, work and play, and Friday night was no exception! As a proud partner during design and construction of Smithsburg High School (MD) stadium and field improvements that included a track, turf field and LED lighting, alumni Brad Reynolds and Steve Gyurisin represented Triad by donating their geotechnical engineering technical expertise. During construction, Triad supported Huntzberry Brothers, Inc. by providing Construction Testing and Inspection services.
Scott Teays Elementary School Expansion
Triad Engineering, Inc. provided drilling services in support of this project collecting subsurface soil and rock samples in order to evaluate subsurface conditions. Laboratory testing of collected samples was conducted to determine the engineering properties of subsurface materials, preparation of a final geotechnical report to provide conclusions and recommendations for design and construction. In addition, Triad provided construction materials testing and quality control monitoring during earthwork and building construction.
