Triad maintains great involvement with projects for parks, fields, stadiums, trails, and many other recreational facilities. In addition to our core service offerings, our registered Landscape Architects contribute greatly to projects in this industry.

4 Seasons Sportsplex Turf Field

Triad Engineering, Inc. provided civil design, professional survey services and geotechnical engineering services in support of replacement of the existing soccer/multiuse field with a synthetic turf field.

Concept Site Development Plan

Triad utilized the base map to layout the site and create the Concept Site Development Plans. Using the County’s checklist and the current set of review plans to create the new plans. Triad created the SWM Concept Report for the storm water calculations required to meet the SWM Ordinance. This also contained the preliminary Erosion Sediment Control narrative. The plans were processed with the County Agencies for review and approval.

Final Site Development Plan

Once the concept plans were approved, Triad utilized the Concept Site Development Plans and all conditions and incorporated them into the final plans. Personnel used the County’s checklist for Final Site Development Plan and provided the information requested. This also required a final SWM report. The plans, once approved by the agencies, were remanded to the Planning Commission one last time for final approval. Upon approval, all Forest and SWM agreements and purchases are complete the project can be submitted for permitting and construction.

Wetlands Delineation

Triad wetland staff visited the site and delineated wetlands on-site near the project area. These were located and added to the plans.

NPDES Permit

Triad prepared and processed the NPDES permit required when project disturb more than one acre.

Geotechnical Exploration

The subsurface exploration was performed to evaluate the subsurface conditions encountered at the project for the limited purposes of preparing design and construction recommendations for geotechnical aspects of the project.  It is emphasized that subsurface conditions may vary dramatically between test locations, and Triad made no representations as to subsurface conditions other than those encountered at the specific test locations.
