David F. Meadows, PE, PS
Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Meadows brings over 45 years of leadership, design, construction and project management experience to Triad Engineering. Mr. Meadows joined Triad in 2013 to provide management to the southwest region which includes the southern West Virginia area and the Athens, Ohio office. Dave is the Chief Technical Officer for Triad. Mr. Meadows has played an important role in maintaining safety, technical quality and risk management of Triad, while being very active in business development.
Prior to coming to Triad, he served in many technical and leadership positions at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District. His expertise includes civil design, geotechnical engineering, construction management, surveying, environmental remediation and water resources engineering. Mr. Meadows obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Engineering from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies and a Master Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and a Registered Professional Surveyor.
Mr. Meadows is active in several professional organizations. He is the Treasurer of the Huntington Branch, American Society of Civil Engineers and a past recipient of the West Virginia Section Civil Engineer of the Year and Roy D. Koch Award. He is a Fellow in the Society of American Military Engineers and a member of the Engineers Club of Huntington, United States Society on Dams, American Society of Dam Safety Officials and the National and WV Society of Professional Surveyors. He currently serves on the West Virginia University Institute of Technology Civil Engineering Advisory Board and Marshall University Engineering Advisory Board.
