Addition of Donated Parcels to Catoctin Creek Park

Triad was engaged to assist Frederick County, Maryland, in the process of consolidating three donated parcels of land into the Catoctin Creek Park property. These parcels were offered by Harriett McKnight Crosby, Trustee of the Harriett McKnight Crosby Revocable Trust.

These parcels are subject to separate Conservation Easements held by Frederick County and/or the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, requiring coordination with these agencies throughout the project.

Triad Engineering, Inc. provided civil design, professional survey services and geotechnical engineering services in support of replacement of the existing soccer/multiuse field with a synthetic turf field.

Concept Site Development Plan

Triad utilized the base map to layout the site and create the Concept Site Development Plans. Using the County’s checklist and the current set of review plans to create the new plans. Triad created the SWM Concept Report for the storm water calculations required to meet the SWM Ordinance. This also contained the preliminary Erosion Sediment Control narrative.
