Triad Engineering, Inc. (Triad), under contract to the J&J Corner Store and reimbursed by the Virginia Petroleum Storage Tank Fund (VPSTF), is providing environmental services related to a release of E10 gasoline (gasohol) from an underground storage tank (UST).  Triad’s environmental services for the project included release confirmation, UST removal, liquid phase hydrocarbon (LPH) recovery, groundwater and drinking water monitoring, and groundwater remediation.

Charleston Area Medical Center Phase I ESA

To assist the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) obtain release of construction bond financing, Triad performed three Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) at CAMC’s Charleston area hospitals: Memorial Division; General Division and Incinerator; and Women and Children’s.  The Phase I ESAs were performed in conformance with ASTM 1527-00, Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process.

Major services provided by Triad were site manager interviews, site reconnaissance with digital photographs, extensive historic records reviews which included title and property deeds, Sanborn fire insurance maps, and USGS and aerial photographs, WVDEP filed reviews under a FOIA..
