Jodi Akers
Jodi started her career surrounded by books, working in a regional library as a marketing specialist. In this position, she was able to travel and work creatively promoting one of her favorite pastimes, reading. In school, she studied marketing and art and even went so far as to focus on blacksmithing. This varied path is a snapshot of Jodi’s inquisitive approach to life and learning, following curiosity wherever it leads. Sometimes that means taking a coding class, and other times it means traveling to Nepal.
This philosophy has served her well in the A/E/C industry, where she juggles weather, deadlines, and the sudden influx of proposals. Jodi looks forward to growing in her role and becoming even more fluent in her now second language, which is engineer.
