Jerry (JD) Kinder, P.E.
Jerry (JD) Kinder, P.E., is the Regional Manager of Triad Engineering’s Scott Depot office, where he provides 17 years of experience in leadership, operational oversight, and technical direction across civil and geotechnical engineering services. He brings broad experience supporting transportation, site development, and infrastructure projects, with a strong background in geotechnical investigations, foundation design, slope stability, and retaining structures.
Throughout his career, JD has served in both technical and leadership roles, guiding teams through the planning, design, and execution of complex engineering projects. Earlier in his career, JD gained valuable experience in the manufacturing sector, where he managed the production and application of segmental retaining wall systems.
JD earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University Institute of Technology and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of West Virginia. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and coaching his boys in sports.
