Triad Engineering, Inc. provided engineering consulting services in support of a project to design and develop a 120-140 car parking facility and the associated site improvements including a crosswalk connection with an existing sidewalk. The project also included management and treatment of the stormwater from the site. This was achieved by designing and installing a sub-pavement detention and infiltration system. The system consisted of HDPE storage chambers placed within and over free draining aggregate (gravel) to allow for both temporary stormwater storage as well as infiltration of the surface water into the underlying water table. All base mapping was provided by the owner (SOMC).
Services provided by Triad on this project included the design of the parking lot including all curbs, crosswalk, drive aisles, and stormwater management treatment features.
